Prior to establishing Rubber Heart Ltd, we both enjoyed lengthy careers at the world-renowned Rubber Consultants/Tun Abdul Razak Research Centre R&D and testing facility just north of London in Hertford for more than 20 years/30 years respectively.
Leading the marketing programme to promote the Malaysian rubber industry, new commercial products and materials, and Rubber Consultants’ R&D and testing services, our roles were varied, challenging and rewarding and we were able to build lasting relationships with businesses and individuals in our great global industry. Our work took us all over the world providing us with an excellent understanding of cross-cultural communication when doing international business and marketing.
Our responsibilities included all the usual public relation activities; marketing, sales and advertising campaigns; social media creation and management; content creation; brand design and building; design and production of marketing materials; technical writing; participation at key industry events and exhibitions; booth design; developing partnerships with other international organisations, associations and commercial companies; establishing media connections and organising international trade missions and events.
Using this invaluable experience, we decided the time was right for us to embark on a new venture and set up our company, Rubber Heart, never planning for a global pandemic where live events, such a crucial platform for sharing knowledge, making new connections and driving business, were put on hold.
Adapting to the current challenges, we concentrated our efforts to create and deliver regular content for digital marketing and press campaigns to increase our clients and partners’ brand visibility as well as providing continuous social media support. All clients and partners become part of Rubber Heart’s extensive network community and we can identify, recommend and secure beneficial marketing opportunities at the earliest opportunity. These include participation at tradeshows, speaking opportunities at conferences, meetings and networking events – as well as any editorial, advertising or sponsorship opportunities.
As live events are starting to come back for our industry, we look forward to meeting you all again in person!
