This Autumn/Fall 2022 has seen the return of the events season in a big way post covid for Rubber Heart and we have been busier than at any point in our relatively short history!!!

The highlight for us was exhibiting for the first time in the USA at Rubber Division, ACS International Elastomer Conference 2022 in Knoxville, TN, from 11th – 13th October 2022, but our travels didn’t start here!

Rubber Heart was in Manchester, UK from 14th – 15th September 2022 for the Dassault Systèmes SIMULIA EuroNorth Regional User Meeting (RUM) 2022 representing Endurica at the Midland Hotel. Read more here: Endurica at SIMULIA RUM 2022

Then before heading off to the States, a fleeting visit was made to Materials Research Exchange in Islington, London. With all the preparation sorted for exhibiting in Knoxville, nothing could have prepared us for the actual journey which turned out to be nothing short of our very own experience of Planes, Trains and Automobiles. We will spare you the details (those of you that follow us on social media will know) but flights were delayed causing connections to be missed that led us to making it to Knoxville from door to door in 48 hours with just three hours sleep! As soon as we arrived we were welcomed back to the industry after three years and it really felt more like a reunion than an industry event.

Rubber Heart had an exhibition booth highlighting our services to the rubber industry for the first time and we were proud to speak to all our visitors about our new company. We were also invited to give a presentation to the 25 year club luncheon at the event to industry leaders about our past experiences throughout the years in the rubber industry and our journey setting up Rubber Heart and the trails and tribulations of doing so during a global pandemic!

The week flew by in a blur and before we knew it we were back in the UK!

Following this major conference and exhibition we made two flying visits to other events. The first was to K 2022 in Dusseldorf, Germany to support our partner PREA Ltd and then we went to Birmingham, UK to Lab Innovations 2022 for our laboratory partner ACE Laboratories and Advanced Engineering 2022 for our clients Tenon Engineering, Wallace Instruments and AE Rubber.

Next there is a BIG announcement for our Canadian client GBIE in the next few weeks!

No rest for the wicked… next the run up to Christmas!
