Rubber Heart is 5!
At the start of January 2025, Rubber Heart celebrates its fifth anniversary!
There’s so much to look back on over these past five years and we’ve been busy, to say the least! We are so thankful that Rubber Heart has allowed us to stay in the industry we’ve loved for so long, travelling the world and visiting some incredible places to meet so many wonderful and interesting people.
Looking back through our news archive has been a humbling experience, reminding us of everything we’ve achieved so far. Standout highlights include exhibiting for the first time as Rubber Heart at the Rubber Division, ACS IEC 2022 in Knoxville, organising a pavilion for our partners at DKT 2021 / DKT 2024 in Nuremberg, and RubberCon 2023 in Edinburgh, but we hope our main achievement has always been supporting the exceptional companies and organisations we work with, helping to highlight their expertise and capabilities in the best possible way. We’ve also been so lucky to visit many new places for the first time including Akron (Rubber Worker Statue), Ravenna (visit to ACE Laboratories), Findlay (Eclipse with Endurica), Detroit (Silicone Expo USA) and Columbus (RD Spring Meeting) in the United States, Schkopau (visit to Synthos Synthetic Rubber) in Germany, and Windsor in Canada (visit to GBIE new factory), as well as returning familiar cities like Cologne, Hannover, Cleveland and Pittsburgh, showcasing not only Rubber Heart’s services but also those of our clients and partners. Without their trust and collaboration, none of this would have been possible – so a huge thank you to them!
Since we publicly launched Rubber Heart back in April 2020, we’ve never lost sight of the importance of talking to people and understanding their needs, especially given how we started our company, almost straight into lockdown and working from home from day one. Over the years we have seen so many positive changes in the industry, particularly in the drive towards greater sustainability and innovation and being part of this ongoing transformation and seeing first-hand the dedication and hard work across the sector has truly been a privilege.
2025 looks like it is going to be another eventful year for both the rubber industry and Rubber Heart! Keep an eye on our events page to see where we’ll be and hopefully we will see you there! A special mention for the Global Polymer Summit 2025 in Cleveland from 8th – 11th September in Cleveland, Ohio, as this new event is a merger of the International Elastomer Conference and the International Tire Exhibition and Conference, with Silicone Expo USA co-locating, it is looking to be THE annual rubber industry gathering in the world!
